Advanced Legal Studies course

This course is designed for attorneys and advocates who are new to special education advocacy or interested in transitioning into this area of practice. The focus of the series is on the representation of students with disabilities. The skill level is basic and no prior experience in this field is assumed. Participation in the series may also benefit educational GALs (Juvenile Court) as well as child welfare advocates, juvenile defenders, and program staff.

The Center for Advanced Legal Studies seeks to create in-depth continuing legal education for the legal community by utilizing the strengths and resources of the law school and the expertise of the bench and the bar.
