Professor Sally Merry is a professor of law and anthropology at New York University Law School. She specializes in the area of human rights and colonialism. Merry will give a talk on her most recent book, “Human Rights and Gender Violence: Translating International Law into Local Justice,” published by the University of Chicago Press
