EVENT: Benjamin Cuellar, director of the Human Rights Institute at the University of Central America, San Salvador, El Salvador will speak on  “Human Rights in El Salvador and the Jesuit Case.”

These events will commemorate the 15 th anniversary of the murders of six University of Central America Jesuit priests, their housekeeper and her daughter on November 16, 1989.

The John Joseph Moakley Archive and Institute at Suffolk University was established by Suffolk University in 2001 upon Congressman Moakley's gift of his papers. It is dedicated to the preservation, study, interpretation and celebration of the late congressman's legacy of service and political and public policy leadership.
