Law School Launches New Website


BOSTON– Now appearing at is a new and improved Suffolk University Law School website. The Law School's first website was launched in 1999, and continued to grow exponentially over the years to nearly 20,000 pages. With the widespread acceptance of the Internet has come the increased importance of having a website and online capabilities. In fact, nearly 85 percent of Suffolk University Law School’s admissions applications are received electronically—making the Law School's website a valuable first impression for many people.

Within the new website are sections devoted exclusively to alumni, students, and visitors —all of which makes it easy to find information right away. Visit the library section to access legal periodicals, state laws, or legislative information, or keep up with the latest news and events at the Law School, including continuing legal education programs from the Center for Advanced Legal Studies or gatherings through the Alumni Relations office.

For nearly 100 years, Suffolk University Law School, in the heart of downtown Boston, has remained one of the most respected names in legal education. Its expansive curriculum—more than 200 upper-level elective courses, specialty concentrations, joint-degree programs and an LL.M. in global technology —enables students to gain a strong academic foundation. A wide range of hands-on experience, including clinical programs, internships and moot court competitions, provides students the practical skills necessary to succeed. Suffolk Law's diverse and supportive community comes together in Sargent Hall, which was dedicated in 1999 and is among the country’s most inspiring, modern and technologically advanced settings for the study of law.
