4/17/2003

Suffolk University’s Office of Career Services and Cooperative Education will be hosting idealist.org’s annual, Boston-area, non-profit job fair on Friday April 25, 2003 from 11:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Regan Gymnasium, located at 148 Cambridge Street in Boston. The job fair is open to all Boston area colleges and universities.

"This is a win-win opportunity for all parties - idealist.org, New England area non-profits looking for talent, and Boston-area job seekers," stated Paul Tanklefsky, Director of Career Services and Cooperative Education at Suffolk University. "We are delighted to host this event because in a market like this, it doesn't get any better than having many employers on campus."

Headquartered in New York City, idealist.org is a leading disseminator of non-profit career opportunities with a database of over 30,000 organizations from more than 165 countries. The job fair already has 50 organizations committed to the event. Early registrants (accessible at www.idealist.org) include City Year, Citizen Schools, EarthWatch Institute, Peace Corps and World Teach.

"We at idealist.org are thrilled to collaborate with Suffolk University on our third fair in the Boston area," stated Russ Finkelstein, Associate Director of idealist.org. "The organizations we work with are excited to be on the Suffolk campus. It promises to be one of our most successful events."
