Head Coach Ernst Cleophat

Ernst Cleophat, a 1992 graduate of Suffolk University, returns to lead the women’s club soccer team as head coach in 2005 and 2006. Cleophat played men’s soccer at Suffolk from 1988-1992 and is Suffolk’s all-time leading scorer, earning team MVP and conference Player of the Year awards.

Cleophat, a resident of Augusta, GA, will coach Suffolk on a part-time basis. In Georgia, he is the assistant men’s and women’s soccer coach at Evans High School. He also serves as a volunteer coach at the Augusta Arsenal Soccer Club.

A former international soccer player, playing in Haiti, Brazil, Germany and France, Cleophat is a USSF and NSCAA licensed coach who brings a lot of international experience to Suffolk.

Cleophat holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Suffolk in 1992 and has a degree in Egyptology. He is married and lives full-time in Augusta, GA, while not coaching Suffolk women’s soccer.
