Suffolk Selected as a "College of Distinction"

Suffolk University has been chosen for inclusion in the inaugural edition of the Colleges of Distinction guidebook.

Suffolk was singled out for its international programs by both high school guidance counselors and college admission officers.

Selection was based on student engagement in the educational process, great teaching, vibrant learning communities and successful outcomes

Suffolk University is one of fewer than 300 schools in the country chosen for this honor by an independent committee of high school guidance counselors and college admissions professionals. It is one of 40 schools chosen in the Northeast.

Schools included in the Colleges of Distinction guide are:

• Nationally recognized by education professionals as excellent schools.
• Strongly focused on teaching undergraduates.
• Home to a wide variety of innovative learning experiences.
• Active campuses with many opportunities for personal development.
• Highly valued by graduate schools and employers for their outstanding preparation.

All of the schools selected for the publication have an excellent reputation among high school guidance counselors, education professionals, employers and graduate schools.
